Academic Strategy and Learning Innovation (ASLI – pronounced “Ashli”) comprises three core units: the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL), the Office of Assessment, and the Institute for Global Higher Education (IGHE). ASLI cultivates a dynamic academic culture rooted in continuous improvement and innovation. By bringing these three units together, ASLI provides systematic support for teaching excellence, student learning, and curriculum development, and advances DKU’s distinctive educational identity.
Assessment supports evidence-based evaluation of student learning and academic programs to drive continuous improvement.
CTL brings innovative, evidence-based teaching practices and learning opportunities to all Duke Kunshan’s faculty.
IGHE services as a strategic hub for DKU’s global engagement, external partnerships, and internal innovation and capacity-building.
ASLI collaborates across faculty committees, academic units, and student partners to advance evidence-based innovation. Our projects strengthen teaching, enrich student learning, and support a dynamic, responsive curriculum.
